HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ideal location near the Mariahilfer Straße
  • Mixture of art deco style and surrealistic art
  • Culinary Viennese classics and many other delicacies

Come in, immerse yourself, forget time and space. The Josefine is a very special boutique hotel, built in 1896 and now revitalized in the glamour of the 1920s and 30s. The 49 rooms combine the traditional architecture of a Viennese Gründerzeit building with modern comfort. Bedheads covered with traditional Viennese wickerwork, crystal chandeliers, tiles with a 3D effect: Art Deco design meets surrealist art that amazes and invites you to smile and reflect. Each of the rooms is a little different and has its own individual charm, but they all offer guests what they need to put their feet up and relax after a busy day. The box-spring beds boast regionally handmade mattresses. The high-quality, cozy down comforters and pillows are of course produced in Austria, tested for animal welfare, and are also suitable for allergy sufferers. The modern bathrooms are equipped with care products from the sustainable, vegan cult brand Votary.

The hotel considers many things that you would have to pay extra for in other hotels to be a matter of course. A bottle of mineral water (sparkling or still) is available in the room on arrival. A bottle of red or a well-chilled white wine will be served free of charge on request. Breakfast is served Monday - Thursday from 07:00 - 12:00 and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 - 14:00. The menu includes continental classics, a variety of organic dishes and a wide range of sweet delicacies. Of course, breakfast is accompanied by crispy bread and pastry specialties that are freshly kneaded, shaped and baked every day.
