Located on a peninsula in Traunkirchen on Lake Traunsee, the Hotel Post am See is surrounded by a magnificent mountain and lake landscape in the Salzkammergut. Family Gröller runs this traditional hotel for well-being & relaxation in the third generation.

Just in time for the summer season, the Hotel Post am See, the heart of the Traunsee Hotels, reopens as a freshly renovated lakeside domicile. From the suites - Rooftop See Suite, Rooftop Garden Rooms or Rooftop Sauna Suite including private sauna - good views are guaranteed. Viennese wicker furniture, hand-knotted carpets and cozy daybeds create a living room feeling. Whether it's custom-made furniture from the Mühlviertel region or individually crafted decorative pillows - quality and lifestyle are the focus.

The view sweeps over the crystal clear lake, the historic Traunkirchen or the green mountain ridge. Artfully, the charm of the old walls has now again been combined with elements from the region. Inn and gourmet restaurant at the same time, old decor on new tiles, chic in the evening and barefoot to the lake during the day - these are not opposites here, but welcome contrasts. A real highlight is the Leisure facilities with own bathing place, sunbeds as well as many sportive possibilities (kayaks, SUP's, bicycles, e-bikes).
