What could be nicer than sitting back, letting the sun shine on your face, listening to the relaxed vibes of the DJ, drinking a glass of champagne and just sticking your feet in the snow ...? In the snow? That's right. Because in Aspen, one of the most popular winter sports resorts in the world, one will find a snow beach this winter. Safe to say: the outside temperatures ensure that the coolest beach club in the world is actually in the mountains.

Pizza, Powder & Pérignon

So cool and a hotspot at the same time: the Snow Beach is located right next to the ski slope. It was created from a collaboration between the experience provider AspenX, the beautiful The Little Nell Hotel and the Photographers Gray Malin. The idea behind it is simple: Even in winter, one longs for relaxing hours with a great view. With first-class service, catering and DJ vibes. And what works in the sand can also work in the snow. In fact, guests love the Beach Club on the ski slopes. The reasons? There are many.

Because on the one hand there is the breathtaking mountain panorama. While you make yourself comfortable in a cabana or on a deck chair, feel the sun on your skin and the snow glistening, everyday life is far away. And on the other hand, there is the service package that comes with the cabana. In addition to a bottle of champagne or rosé, they serve one can of Ramona Amarino per person. The team also treats guests to caviar, crostini, jamón ibérico and truffle pizza. Homemade sweet and salty popcorn rounds out the snack offerings.

Depending on which package you choose, the bubbly comes as La Caravelle "Cuvee Nina" (Green Package), Bollinger Special Cuvee (Blue Package) or Dom Pérignon (Black Package). "My goal was to create an immersive experience inspired by my work that paid tribute to Aspen's chic après ski culture," says Gray Malin. He reportedly got the idea while walking on the beach in South Beach/Miami one fall day last year.

Malin studied the beach club aesthetic closely and transferred it to the Rocky Mountains. In fact, the lounge chairs and cabanas in their striped design might as well be on a beach. Surfboards, floaties, and even a lifeguard stand make your impression of a day at the beach in the middle of the mountains perfect. The only thing missing is the pool.
