A time out like at home

The feel-good chalets offer a luxurious retreat for up to four people on three floors with a total of 100 square meters. These have a spacious living and dining area, where you can end the winter evenings with a crackling wood fireplace, a high-quality equipped kitchen, and two cozy bedrooms in a lovely floral design including a bathroom. A private wellness area with Finnish sauna provides further relaxation after a long day in nature. On balmy evenings, a west-facing sundown terrace with covered dining area invites you to spend picturesque hours enjoying romantic sunsets. A breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and the basilica can be enjoyed from the south side of the chalet, on the covered and heated time-out balcony.

Hospitality is the order of the day

Creating magical moments and the well-being of visitors is the top priority of hosts Helga and Peter Lindmoser. Already upon arrival at the Homebase, the central meeting point of the mountain village, one is welcomed with a bottle of Grüner Veltliner sparkling wine and snacks. Over cake and coffee, one meets other guests of the relaxation oasis in the afternoon and, if desired, has a reservation made for dinner at the nearby Brauhaus Mariazell. For further convenience, there is ample parking with e-car charging stations and fiber-optic WLAN.

Recharge energy stores in nature

For centuries, Mariazell has been visited by pilgrims as a place of strength via the famous Via Sacra pilgrimage route through the foothills of the Alps. At this proven place, one pushes other worries into the background and surrenders to nature with all senses. Situated directly at the foot of the Mariazell Bürgeralpe, there are numerous hiking and biking routes to discover.

The area also becomes a paradise for younger visitors with its range of experiences such as the Holzknechtland, the Biberwasser, BikeAlps & WakeAlps and Wald8erBahn. Wild gorges and impressive waterfalls adorn the nearby Ötschergräben, considered Austria's Grand Canyon. And also at the hotel's own swimming pier at the Erlaufsee you dive through the crystal clear water to a balance of body and soul.
