When you arrive by boat, St. Lucia looks like a dream island from a movie set: two volcanic cones rise majestically from the sea, the surrounding nature reserve is lush with vegetation. In the rainforest in the centre of the island, there are impressive waterfalls such as the Diamond Falls, which draw their water from underground sulfur springs, which is why the water shimmers in shades of yellow and green - steam comes out of the earth like in Iceland as well. An absolute highlight are the Sulphur Springs containing sulfur, that are fondly referred to as "the world's only drive-in volcano".
