What was your first impression of the city?
I had deliberately not informed myself in detail about my destination and wanted to be surprised, and so I was then very amazed by the many new impressions. Dubai was incomparable and new for me, at the same time I felt very comfortable.

What do you particularly like about Dubai?
The diversity, the energy of the desert, the extremely tall buildings, the breathtaking sights and the exciting activities. I also fell in love with the city at night - the spectacular lights make every evening feel like Christmas.

What led to the decision to live here permanently?
This place gives me a very special quality of life. I need less sleep, have more energy and motivation. The city is also very international, different cultures and religions from all over the world come together here - I like that.

How do you spend your weekends?
Most of the time I enjoy the nice weather in one of the numerous beach clubs. I also like to go to a horse farm in the desert for a day, enjoy the company of the animals and go for a ride.

What is a must-see in Dubai?
The tallest skyscraper in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and the fountain show there. That really fascinates me every time.
