It was a tribute to the legendary artist Christo: more than 30 years after the spectacular wrapping of the Pont Neuf and a little more than a year after his death, Christo's last work was realized with the wrapping of the Arc de Triomphe. The project cost 14 million euros and required 25,000 square meters of fabric. The wrapping has been finished for a few days, but the dismantling will take the whole month of October.
