Inside Amazónico
No matter whether you're dining at Amazónico's branches in Madrid, London, Dubai, or Monte Carlo, the experience will transport you to the banks of the world’s second-longest river, taking you on a journey through the flavors of Latin America.

When Sandro Silva moved from Brazil to Spain at the age of eleven, he probably had no idea that one day he would become one of the most well-known figures in Madrid—and beyond. Or that he would leave such a mark on the Barrio de Salamanca that locals would nickname it the “Silva district.” But that’s exactly what happened. Silva worked in restaurants across Spain, France, and Italy before opening his first establishment, El Paraguas, in Madrid in 2004. He focused on what he did best: simple dishes made with fresh ingredients, prepared with great care and passion.

In 2010, Silva and his wife, Marta Seco, opened Ten Con Ten, their first restaurant together. It was an instant success, leading to further ventures, including a gourmet delicatessen. Their biggest breakthrough came in 2016 with the launch of Amazónico in Madrid. With lush tropical plants, opulent jungle-inspired decor, and a menu blending exotic Latin American flavors with Asian and Mediterranean influences, the restaurant quickly became a hotspot for food lovers. The seasonal and meticulously curated menu, featuring everything from Peruvian sushi to premium seafood and meats, won over gourmets just as quickly as the cocktail list did. Alongside classic drinks, guests can enjoy signature jungle-themed creations—including some that give back. For every Save the Jungle cocktail ordered, Amazónico plants a tree in the Amazon rainforest.

In 2015, Silva and Seco partnered with the D.ream Group to drive the expansion of Amazónico. Their first restaurant outside Spain was Amazónico London, followed shortly by Dubai. Since April of this year, the historic Société des Bains de Mer building in the heart of Monte Carlo has also been home to its very own Amazónico.

One of the standout features of the Monaco location is its spectacular rooftop terrace. Spanning 945 square meters, it is, of course, lushly landscaped to match the theme. From this vantage point, guests can take in the sunset over Monte Carlo’s Golden Quarter or watch the Grand Prix. Without these visual cues, one might easily feel transported to the Amazon. Dinner begins with an exquisite selection of caviar, Peruvian sashimi Hamachi Tiradito, or fresh salads. This is followed by classics such as Brazilian cheese bread (Pão de Queijo), frog legs with mango dressing, or premium grilled meats—available as rib-eye, Angus skirt steak, T-bone, or rump steak.
As the evening fades into night, the party crowd sets out in search of the leopard-print staircase—because behind it, you'll find the club, where the celebration continues from 11 PM to 4 AM. The signature soundtrack is always elec-tropical, a fusion of electronic dance music, DJ sets, and live performances infused with tropical and exotic influences—just like Amazónico itself.
