As an exceptional figure in the world of haute cuisine, Anne-Sophie Pic has not only challenged conventions but also expanded the boundaries of flavor. “For me, cooking is a language through which I can express my emotions,” she says—and she infuses this philosophy into every dish she creates. Despite coming from a renowned culinary family (the “Maison Pic” in Valence was founded as early as 1889), she initially chose a different path: “I had to find my own approach to cooking, free from predefined structures.” This thoughtful perspective continues to shape her work to this day.
