Arrive and simply enjoy - when the door to the WIESERGUT opens, a pleasant scent of wood wafts through the air. A crackling fireplace and lounge furniture create a cozy atmosphere and a warm welcome echoes. A place to stay. For twelve years now, Martina and Sepp Kröll have been inspiring guests with their authentic concept and demonstrating what true hospitality means. Nothing has been left to chance, everything has been carefully chosen. You can feel their love and connection to nature and their roots everywhere, completely in line with their values. They always manage to inspire their guests and let them participate in the positive flow that runs through all the rooms - a piece of happiness for every guest.

Living experiences redefined

Just in time for the start of winter, the Krölls inaugurated their Mountain Escape at the beginning of December. Just a stone's throw from the hotel, opposite the BadHaus, the new BergLoft covers an incredible 360 square meters. Three bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a spacious living area with a modern, minimalist look are grouped around a light-filled atrium. The architecture is characterized by light-flooded rooms with lots of wood and selected natural materials. For the ultimate feel-good experience, there is also a small spa and fitness room, a spectacular stone bathtub, a 15-metre-long heated pool with terrace and a glazed sauna with views of the countryside. On cold winter days, a fireplace in the living room and a fire ring on the terrace make for a particularly cozy atmosphere.

Also new are the BergSuite and the BergGym with state-of-the-art sports equipment. "For us, these three new, unique living spaces represent a consistent further development of our WIESERGUT vision. The architecture and design reflect our thoughts and values; we want to give the original a stage and let our guests feel 100 percent authenticity," explain Martina and Sepp Kröll. The 17 manor suites, four garden suites and three exclusive hideaway suites with their own sauna in the garden also promise a sense of well-being. Natural colors, loden and linen fabrics, furniture, lamps and accessories designed exclusively for the WIESERGUT bear witness to the hosts' passion for their home.

First-class cuisine from our own farm

But Sepp's heart beats for more than just the hotel. There is also the family-run farm, which forms the basis for many dishes on the fine menu. Sepp often looks after his Pinzgau cattle himself, makes hay and grows fruit and vegetables. Meat, bacon, milk and eggs are also produced on the farm. The bread is even lovingly baked by the senior chef herself. In summer, the kitchen team helps themselves to some of the produce from their own garden and serves wild herb salads, cakes with home-grown fruit and homemade jams. Everything that the garden does not provide comes from regional vegetable suppliers. This means that high-quality dishes from breakfast to à la carte dinner are always a tasty experience.

And what better way to start a day on vacation than with coffee and tea specialties or hot chocolate made from the finest cocoa beans in the WIESERGUT Piazza? Incidentally, this is also where the fragrant Wieser bread comes straight from the wood-fired oven. Made in the original way, with flour ground by stone mills, pure salt and fresh water from WIESERGUT's own spring, it is kneaded, shaped and freshly baked by hand. With refined spreads, homemade butter and jams: simply heavenly.

An oasis of calm

The BadHaus is also heavenly - heavenly relaxation. A place full of tranquillity and relaxation, it offers fine fragrances from nature, a pine sauna, steam bath and a heated indoor and outdoor pool filled with its own spring water. The tea lounge is the perfect place to relax by the warm fireplace and forget everyday life. The spa treatments with high-quality care products and herbal essences provide even more time for self-care. Simply immerse yourself and do something good for yourself is the premise here. On the roof, a private spa with an open fireplace and outdoor bathtub invites you to relax in complete privacy - fantastic views of the Pinzgau region included. There are also two new outdoor saunas on the terrace, which can also be used by all guests.

Nature from its wintry side

And what else is part of a vacation besides relaxation and fine cuisine? Get out into nature, recharge your batteries, take a deep breath. The Glemmtal offers a wide range of activities all year round, whether for leisure sports enthusiasts or professionals. In winter, Austria's largest ski area, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, is just a few steps away from the WIESERGUT. Snow is guaranteed on 270 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes. Those who prefer a quieter experience can enjoy the silence amidst the glistening white splendor on snowshoes. Afterwards, a stop at the hotel's own WIESERALM is well worthwhile. Located on the Reiterkogel at an altitude of 1,500 meters, it can be reached on foot in an hour and tempts you with regional delicacies and hot drinks - the perfect end to a winter excursion.
