Up close and personal with nature

Passengers can look forward to unforgettable experiences, including animal watching and impressive encounters with the Inuit people. UNESCO World Heritage Sites complete the bucket list. And for even more variety, there are excursions and landings with Zodiacs, hikes and tours with kayaks.

Being joined by experts at the respective destination guarantees that you'll also learn a lot along the way – in passing, so to speak. On board, passengers can expect an elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere and comfort at the highest level. Cue the Ponant experience.

Debut for the floating boutique hotels

The new routes for the 2024 Arctic season include the wild coasts of Greenland and the east coast of Canada. Passengers will set off to lands and islands steeped in legend. Expedition participants will explore the Shetlands, the Faroe Islands and Iceland, among others. The St. Lawrence River and the Great Lakes of North America provide even more choice.

Among the highlights is the 11-day expedition cruise from Bergen to Reykjavík. During this trip, passengers are on an exploration tour of the most beautiful landscapes of Norway, Scotland, the Faroe Islands and Iceland. The home of the Celts and Vikings impresses with its rugged grace, rich culture and history.

Goosebumps on board – and ashore

In August 2024, the Le Lyrial will set off from the port of Greenland to cruise across the far north of Canada to the shores of Labrador. The island of Newfoundland and encounters with local people are also on the Ponant cruise itinerary. Active passengers can get up close and personal with nature on numerous hikes.

The 14-day cruise from Montreal, Canada to New York aboard Le Lyrial promises to be another unforgettable route. It will depart in late September 2024, just in time for fall foliage. Guests will watch from the deck or their staterooms as the landscape passes by in its most magnificent array of colors. When the ship finally passes the Statue of Liberty and enters the harbor of New York, goosebumps are guaranteed.
