Thanks to the long-awaited relaxation of the Corona rules, the Vitalpina Hotels South Tyrol are finally allowed to welcome guests again. Perfect for the re-open of the hotels: quarantine is no longer mandatory for the Italian region - if visitors are vaccinated, tested or recovered.

No risk, more fun

Since holidaymakers are once again allowed to enter South Tyrol without having to undergo quarantine, there has been great joy at the Vitalpina Hotels. Guests can enjoy their stay with a lot of safety and freedom: the hygiene regulations are meticulously adhered to, with plenty of space available to everyone, not only in the spacious nature but also in the public rooms. Outside in the dreamlike nature, outdoor fans can be carefree active, enjoy relaxing moments and breathe deeply again in the fresh mountain air.

In the hotel restaurants, the chefs spoil you with culinary delights prepared from regional and seasonal products. The tables are arranged in such a way that there is a distance of 1m between people in all directions. The service staff wears masks and always disinfects the tables after changing guests.

In order to relax in the wellness area or to gain access to the fitness facilities in the hotel, the so-called "CoronaPass Südtirol" is recommended to every guest. It certifies one of the three requirements (negative-tested, vaccinated or recovered) for both locals and tourists and thus brings additional benefits during the holiday. The "passport" is rather a QR code that contains the negative Corona status and is sent digitally or posted on paper. This can then be easily presented at the entrance to theatre performances, cinemas and concerts and other facilities. In addition, travellers with the passport can also move freely between the red and orange Italian zones.

For even more well-being

During the lockdown period when the hotels were closed, some of the Vitalpina Hotels put more focus on sustainability and renovated their premises with the environment in mind. One example is the Terentnerhof who offers its' guests modernised junior suites, in which plastic, plexiglass, laminates or chemical materials have been completely dispensed with. A comfortable underground car park encourages guests to leave their car behind during their stay and explore the unspoilt landscape. The new terrace with a view of the Dolomites, a UNESCO natural heritage, is a great place to relax in the healthy mountain air. The newly renovated Terentnerhof opens on 18 June 2021.

The host family Sattler of the Hotel ICARO renovated and renewed their look. The result of the extensive renovations, especially in the interior of the house, looks beautiful. Not only the entrance, the reception and the dining room shine in new splendour, but also the rooms have been given a fresh coat of paint. The transformed hotel welcomes its guests again from 1 July 2021.
