Under the leadership of renowned hotelier Daniel Shamoon, the resort has undergone extensive changes to further enhance its uniqueness and authenticity. Hermitage Bay now offers 30 newly designed villa suites, private pools, an upgraded garden spa, and a range of new culinary experiences. The suites—whether on the beach, in the garden, or on the hills with spectacular views—provide a retreat within Antigua’s tropical nature, emphasizing privacy and immersion in the natural surroundings. Newly added: a beachfront villa directly on the white sand beach and secluded hillside pool villas, ideal for honeymooners or those seeking tranquility and quiet.

Highlights of the redesign include the innovative beach club concept and the Tree Bar, which wraps around an ancient tree inviting guests to enjoy regional cocktails at sunset. In addition to the pool bar and a newly redesigned all-day dining restaurant offering traditional Antiguan dishes with an international twist, Executive Chef Desroy Spence enhances the resort’s culinary experiences with new dishes and creative influences from both local and international cuisine.
