JOALI BEING: ultimate wellness oasis opens in the Maldives

In harmony with nature, a special wellness oasis will open in November, specialising in the holistic well-being of guests.

2 July 2021

On November 15, the JOALI BEING , a special kind of wellness hotel, will open in the Maldives. The JOALI BEING embraces a holistic health concept that goes far beyond usual wellness treatments. The resort, only 15 minutes away from its sister-resort JOALI , located in Raa Atoll, is leading the way in the medical spa sector. Guests enjoy personalized service from trained staff and the highest quality treatments.

Pioneer in the Maldives

The health concept of the resort is based on four pillars: mind, skin, immune system and energy. It was developed in collaboration with Professor Gerry Bodeker, educated at Harvard University and an expert in traditional and integrative medicine. The holistic approach of the resort can compete with excellent medical spas already known in Europe. AREKA, the resort's wellness centre, is now a pioneer in the Maldives.

Besides excellent treatments, the resort performs outstandingly all along the line. Elegant design, luxurious interior and untouched nature promise unforgettable moments between the crystal clear ocean and the fine, snow white sands of the beach. The 68 villas with private pools nestle in the natural surroundings of the island - not a single tree was felled during the construction of the resort.

The cuisine is inspired by nature and is down to earth. The resort follows the "Earth-to-Table" concept - the food is locally and freshly produced and harvested. Three restaurants provide unforgettable moments of pleasure: in Plantae guests enjoy vegetarian cuisine, while in Su they are served freshly caught fish from the sea. Meals typical of the resort are served in the B'Well. Upon request, meals and drinks are coordinated with a nutritionist to promote gut health. Another highlight is the Mojo with its three-storey sundeck, from where you can dine and enjoy the spectacular view over lunch.
