A glimmer of hope

While almost the entire world has stood still for the past year, a precious jewel of the hotel industry has emerged in London. Edwardian Hotels London have added a luxury extravaganza, opening the new and world's first super boutique hotel, The Londoner, in April 2021. Hotel Director Charles Oak is proud to say, "We hope The Londoner will be a beacon of hope for London's resilient hotel industry and are proud to have brought together a world-class team of the world's hardest working and most talented individuals. Together we look forward to opening our doors in the spring and welcoming guests from around the world to their new home in the heart of the capital's most vibrant neighbourhood."

More than a hotel

In addition to the exclusive accommodation with luxuriously appointed rooms, the hotel also offers other highlights. Two private screening rooms, six different culinary concepts, including bars and taverns and a spacious roof terrace with a fireplace and a breathtaking view over the metropolis provide a unique flair. But also the chic ballroom, as well as the hotel's own gym and the relaxing wellness area are worth a visit at The Londoner.

Contemporary aesthetics meets big city flair

The hotel's enchanting contemporary aesthetic was designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the world-renowned designer behind the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Manhattan. Right from the start, guests are drawn into the hotel's spell. Because when they enter the impressive lobby, their eyes immediately fall on the signature restaurant, which is a cozy dining hotspot during the day and becomes a vibrant meeting place for evening parties in the evening hours.

A special feature of the hotel's rooms and suites are the large floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, which offer a brilliant view of the vibrant city. The rooms on the lower floors are perfect for hosting large or small celebrations. The Ballroom, for example, can accommodate over 800 guests.

And the world's first super boutique hotel also pays attention to sustainability. The owners have secured a so-called Green Loan of 175 million pounds - a first for the hospitality sector. The funds will be used to ensure that the new hotel not only meets but exceeds the BREEAM Excellent category in terms of environmentally friendly and sustainable performance.
