The David Kempinski Tel Aviv

A few days ago, the first guests checked into the newest hotel of the legendary Kempinski chain. The David Kempinski, the 80th hotel of Europe's oldest luxury hotel chain - and its first in Israel - is wowing visitors with its decadent décor. The 34-story high-rise with 250 elegant rooms and suites is located directly on the beach promenade and sets new standards for hotels in Tel Aviv.

A Suite Escape

The new property combines the best the city has to offer: lively urban hustle and bustle and a relaxed beach atmosphere. Highlights of the new property include the 56 spacious suites with floor-to-ceiling windows that look directly out over the brilliant blue Mediterranean Sea. The David Penthouse Suite - the largest triplex penthouse suite in all of Tel Aviv - fulfills every desire with 380 square meters of space, two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a living and dining area, its own fitness room, and a private terrace with a 10-meter infinity pool.

Culinary Treats at The David Kempinski

Chef Mor Cohen treats guests to his award-winning creations in five distinct kosher venues: Sereia Restaurant serves freshly caught fish; Sereia Lounge features health-focused offerings and delicious pastries on the menu; Horizon Lounge, located on the 22nd floor, provides guests from select rooms and suites with exquisite round-the-clock dining; Pool Bar offers light snacks and refreshing drinks overlooking the infinity pool and ocean; and Common Bar, a two-in-one bar concept, offers Cohiba Atmosphere cigars and Macallan whiskey.

Those who book one of the Signature Suites for their stay will have a clear advantage: during the day, guests of the suites will have access to the roof terrace with a private pool, which will be transformed into the Cloud51 restaurant and bar in the evenings from July 2022. The nightlife of the already iconic party metropolis will thus soon be enriched by another hotspot.

Rest and Recreation

In addition to the outstanding culinary offer, the hotel also offers top-class relaxation moments: the elegant OKOA Spa trumps with 11 treatment rooms, including two rooms for couples with Jacuzzis, a fully equipped fitness room, saunas and a relaxation area. Guests are also well-served when it comes to beauty and can book a manicure, pedicure and hairdressing appointments by the in-house team of professional stylists. The state-of-the-art meeting and banquet facilities, where chef Omri Magal can cater for up to 500 guests, are ideal for events such as weddings, bar mitzvahs and conferences.

Located in the heart of the "tayelet" (as Tel Aviv's waterfront is known in Hebrew), the David Kempinski makes fitness fanatics' hearts beat faster, as the city's popular outdoor sports and water activities are just a few steps away from the new luxury hotel. From standup paddling and surfing lessons to bike tours and yoga classes, guests here can experience Tel Aviv's sporty side firsthand and soak up not only vitamin D but also adrenaline in the sun. Those who prefer to chill on the beach, read a good book, and splash in the sea will appreciate the hotel's beach package with towels, snacks, refreshments, and - especially important - sunscreen.

The Best of Tel Aviv

The dynamic metropolis may be Israel's second-largest city, but with 52 km² of space it is quite manageable - and can be fantastically explored on foot or by bike. The kilometer-long beaches are among the absolute highlights, but the traditional markets and the numerous Bauhaus-style buildings are also not to be missed.
