Within a very short time, the One&Only Portonovi established itself as a hotspot for some of the best culinary experiences on the coast of Montenegro. This summer, the offer for gourmets grows with a special new opening: true to the motto of offering its guests the most exciting gastronomic delights, KOR Grill & Bar creates a summer stop in Portonovi and brings the aromatic diversity of Istanbul to the Adriatic coast.

Turkish food to share

From 15 June, the in-house restaurant La Veranda, with its spacious open kitchen, will temporarily become home to the refined Turkish concept curated by Mehmet Gürs and Cihan Çetinkaya. KOR Grill & Bar is inspired by the traditional Turkish "Ocakbaşı" in the streets of Istanbul and Southeast Anatolia. A modern concept with inspiring dishes to share, prepared directly over open embers, and a selection of creative cocktails, local wines and beer from small breweries are on the summer menu.

A delicate foretaste

While KOR Grill & Bar is still under construction in Turkey, gourmets at One&Only Portonovi are already getting a taste of what to expect when it opens next year. KOR's cuisine features the finest local ingredients and the bold flavours of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the delicate and fresh flavours of the Aegean coast.

This is what summer tastes like at One&Only Portonovi

Food is prepared over embers and, like most local dishes, is uncomplicated and simple. From creative spreads and mezze (fresh appetizers and salads) to perfectly grilled meats and seafood, guests will find dishes designed to be enjoyed together. Highlights include the grilled eggplant with creamy tahini citrus dressing and the lamb chops with delicate spices, honey quince glaze and almonds.
