The family-run Alpen-Wellness Resort Hochfirst is one of the most exclusive and traditional hotels in the Ötztal AlpsThe hotel is located directly at the slopes of the top quality skiing area Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. Now the first-class house inspires with a new beauty & spa area and sophisticated suites.

Luxurious Me-Time

The Hochfirst Beauty & Spa area has been completely redesigned: Tasteful interior in noble design in white and bronze tones soothes the senses. Five spacious, new treatment rooms with exclusive beauty treatments and massages provide a special ambience. The world's best skin care lines - from Sisley Paris & Ligne ST. Barth - as well as the professional competence of an excellently trained beauty and massage team unite in the Hochfirst to a feeling of well-being at the highest level. The magnificent backdrop of the Ötztal mountain giants frames soothing me-time moments. In the 1,500 m² "Alpen Spa", Hochfirst guests will find everything their body and mind need to regenerate: Warming sauna worlds and an outdoor Tyrolean sauna hut, soothing steam baths and relaxing rest zones, 220 m² indoor and outdoor pools with views of the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks, a waterfall and rock whirlpools.

Sunny living worlds

At the Hochfirst Alpine Wellness Resort, luxury, wellness and culinary delights merge to create a special holiday experience at the foot of the ski slopes. Here they are looking full of energy into the future, in order to be able to give guests even more exclusive feel-good moments in the future. Because staying at Hochfirst is "state of the art", four new living worlds have been created on the sunny south side for discerning connoisseurs. The double rooms "Spiegelkogl" and the luxurious "Mountain Suites" are furnished in a modern, elegant chalet style. Artistic woodwork and noble interiors flatter the senses. The spacious bathrooms with bathtub, shower, sauna and flat-screen TV also serve as oases of well-being.

The holiday experience is crowned by glazed balconies and large windows that offer a view of an impressive summit panorama. Every evening, a 6-course gourmet menu at toque level is served in the Hochfirst restaurant. The à la carte restaurant "Gourmetstube Hochfirst" has also been awarded several toques. The hotel's wine cellar is stocked with exquisite wines from the world's best growing regions. The exclusive vinotheque "Santé" offers a stylish setting for wine tastings with the sommelier or for an exclusive private dining with fondue or gourmet menu.

Outside, skiers are in one of the most snow-sure and extensive ski areas in the Alps. The sunny slopes lead up to over 3,000 metres. There are no queues at the lifts in the ski area. On the contrary, Obergurgl can assure its guests that it offers plenty of space for incomparable skiing pleasure. Even those who don't ski down from the mountain to the valley come into contact with the powerful mountain nature in Obergurgl: cross-country skiing, winter hiking, ski touring, tobogganing, ice skating and snowshoe hiking.

Due to the current developments of the Corona Pandemic, the hotel will remain closed this winter. With confidence and great anticipation, the next winter season is already being planned. On 18 November 2021, the ski opening will take place at the Hochfirst. Due to its generous architecture and the distinct service character, the Hochfirst is virtually predestined to spoil its guests with carefree and safe holiday days.
