Qatar Airways: New flights to Egypt and resumption of flights to Medina

Qatar Airways is expanding its presence in Egypt and the Middle East. Since October 1, the airline has begun offering its passengers four flights a week between Doha and Medina, with three daily flights to Cairo again.

Qatar Airways, which was recently named the world's fourth best airline by Condé Nast Traveller readers, started October with new flights for its passengers. Tthe airline introduced a third daily flight to Cairo, in addition, the flight connection from Medina in Saudi Arabia to Doha was resumed with four weekly flights.

Optimal connections to over 140 Qatar Airways destinations

The resumption of the four weekly flights, which will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft that can comfortably seat around 144 passengers, will also provide connections to Qatar Airways' more than 140 destinations worldwide.

November and December: New flights to Luxor and Sharm El-Sheikh

Further resumptions are also planned in the near future: Quatar Airways will operate four flights per week to Luxor from 23 November 2021, followed by two flights per week to Sharm El-Sheikh from 3 December 2021, bringing Qatar Airways' total weekly flights from Hamad International Airport to Egypt to 34. The flights to Luxor and Sharm El-Sheikh will be operated by an Airbus A320 with 12 seats in First Class and 132 seats in Economy Class.
