The St. Pete Beach in Clearwater is officially the best beach in the US. That have the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Awards 2021 result. Once again, the region in Florida shine with their dreamlike beaches and is not only in the USA on place one, but also in the  top 5 worldwide! 

Millions of vacationers vote for beaches in St. Pete/Clearwater

St. Pete/Clearwater can once again convince millions of travelers from all over the world with its multiple award-winning dream beaches. For the second time in the history of the awards, the last time in 2012, St. Pete Beach receives the prestigious award as "Best Beach in the USA". After being voted among the top 5 best beaches in the USA several times in the past years, this time St. Pete Beach even achieves a ranking within the top 5 best beaches in the whole world.

The dream beach in St. Pete/Clearwater convinces with numerous activities, from sunbathing to kayaking and fishing.

However, this year's Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Awards include another first for St. Pete/Clearwater: for the first time, Madeira Beach achieves a ranking within the top 10 best beaches in the United States. "At St. Pete/Clearwater, we are very appreciative of Tripadvisor's award. Over the past six years, our region has boasted the best beach in the U.S. a total of four times. However, especially after a disastrous 2020 for the travel industry, we are even more honored to receive the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Award," enthused Steve Hayes, President and CEO of Visit St. Pete/Clearwater. "Our communities, including St. Pete Beach and Madeira Beach, are committed day in and day out to establishing these destinations and keeping the beaches in pristine condition for travelers near and far."

St. Pete/Clearwater is a paradise for sun worshippers

The beaches in the St. Pete/Clearwater region are diverse, so there's a beach for everyone - even away from the world-famous Clearwater Beach. For those active and nature-loving vacationers who want to do more than just relax and soak up the sun at the beach, a visit to Fort de Soto Park might be the right choice: With various activities such as kayaking, inline skating, biking or fishing, the numerous beach sections of the park, which consists of five islands, can be explored. With many playgrounds and special dog beaches, Fort de Soto Park is also particularly family-friendly, which is why it was also named the best beach for families by "USA Today" in 2014.

Other beach secrets include Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island north of Clearwater Beach. On Honeymoon Island, nature lovers can look forward to a variety of shorebirds and a pristine sandy beach. Caladesi Island delights visitors with pristine, immaculate landscapes and a brilliant white stretch of beach. Concerns about bad weather need not arise either: For more than 50 years, St. Pete has held the world record for most sunny days without a break, with 768 days in a row. While that record has remained unbroken ever since, the St. Pete/Clearwater region nevertheless treats its residents and visitors to an average of 361 days of sunshine per year.
