Hidden pearl in the Engadine

Hotel Paradies Ftan in the fast lane.

August 4, 2020

It may seem a little remote at first glance, in Ftan in the Lower Engadine - but that is downright luxury at second glance and in these times. And it has even more privileges to offer: The 5-star hotel "Paradies" above Scuol. Above all, however, the "Paradies" gets to the heart of the current guest need for "splendid isolation" - as the leading Swiss business magazine Bilanz also notes in its latest hotel rating. Hotel expert Claus Schweitzer hoists the hotel, which is treading an innovative path in the German-speaking world with its all-inclusive club concept for 5-star hotels, to 13th place among the best Swiss holiday hotels. "We are proud of this recognition from a competent mouth. We have chosen to innovate in terms of hospitality and hotel concept and feel, especially in this complex market situation, that the principle of wonderful isolation is a veritable privilege for our club members and those who still want to become one," Meike Bambach holds. She herself was named Hotelier of the Year 2019 by Bilanz last year. And with her nine-member well-coordinated team, she is doing pioneering work. In the meantime, the hotel has already won over 150 club members for the pioneering concept of Club Privé "Il Paradis".

Far from the masses, the Hotel Paradies in the Engadine enjoys the highest recognition.

Club Privé: Luxury hotel business of a special kind

The principle of the international members' club is quite simple: You buy a holiday in 5-star style and move in for yourself and your loved ones when it suits you. Everything is included - from A for arrival with chauffeur service from the front door in the hotel's own Land Rover to Z for cosy get-togethers. For example, in the highest cooking studio in the Alps at 2200 metres above sea level in an ancient stable with an even older wooden stove. Familiar togetherness among the guests and plenty of space in nature for hiking, biking and diving at the wonderfully secluded bathing lake of Ftan - a stone's throw away from "paradise" - characterize the concept of the house. This summer, external guests who are not members of the Member Club can also benefit from these exclusive amenities. According to the motto: test once, always want to return. Until 31 October 2020, the all-inclusive special is available at https://www.paradieshotel.ch/all-inclusive-wochen bookable.

Ranked 13th in the Bilanz Hotel Rating: The "Paradise" in Ftan, in the most beautiful seclusion, hits the nerve of the times.
