5 stunning villas on Mustique Island

On Mustique Island - between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean - exclusive villas provide private flair!

28 July 2021

Mustique is considered one of the most exclusive islands in the Caribbean. Crystal-clear water, dream beaches and a dense jungle characterize the landscape. This and the pleasant climate, has made the island a very special retreat for decades. Royals and rock stars know this too, because they are almost magically attracted to Mustique Island.

Those who want to enjoy the perfect beauty of the island, but still don't want to forego privacy, should take a closer look at these five villas.

Villa Taliesin was designed by Canadian architect Jack Diamond. It consists of open living spaces - only some glass walls serve as windbreaks. The transition between inside and outside is mainly evident through a change in the flooring. The view is an essential criterion, and this villa really has plenty of it: nothing obstructs the view of the sea. The 1800m2 large building offers privacy and has 6 bedrooms, a 14 meter pool, a fully equipped gym and a home cinema. 6 employees including a cook, butler, a housekeeper and a gardener take care of the well-being of the guests. Price per villa per night approx. €3,780, incl. 4 employees.

5. THE BEACH HOUSE

The Beach House impresses with its unique design and also looks back on an eventful history. Numerous Seventies-style furniture and reed mats on the floor support the desired retro style. Each of the five bedrooms is completely covered with bamboo sticks and the furniture was made of the renewable natural material combined with rattan. To avoid distracting from the bamboo aesthetic, Grenney avoided too much décor. The colour palette of neutral sand and amber tones evoke seashells and the beach, and the panoramic view of the bay from the living lounge enhances the feeling of sitting in the middle of paradise. Price per villa per night approx €8,200.
