Christmas markets: The most beautiful destinations in Europe

If you would like to travel before Christmas, you should definitely include a Christmas market visit in a short city trip.

Warm mulled wine, soup made from bread dough, hot baked potatoes - the pre-Christmas season brings back special memories. Holidays in winter don't always have to be about skiing or Hiking in the mountains. Fortunately, there are enough Christmas markets in Europe that entice with a magical atmosphere - and are definitely worth a trip.

1. Christmas Market in Prague (Czech Republic)

2. Nuremberg Christmas Market (Germany)

The Nuremberg Christmas Market is considered one of the most famous Christmas markets in the world - and rightly so! 3. Christmas Market in Tivoli (Copenhagen, Denmark)

4. Christmas in London (England)

If you've never been to London at Christmastime, you should do so as soon as possible, because the British metropolis turns into a magical Winter Wonderland in December! 5. Christmas in Paris (France)
