Amanzoe

Kranidi 213 00, Greece
T: +30 2754 772888

The sheer size of the complex and the fact that each villa has its own garden and private pool mean that as a guest you feel as if you are alone in the resort. There are 38 pavilions and four villas to choose from, the largest of which, Villa 20, stands on an area the size of three football pitches - more privacy is hard to come by. Ed Tuttle's clear design language, so typical of Aman, blends almost seamlessly into the island architecture; the "Amanzoe" looks like an ancient Greek temple. The spa, inspired by the holistic approaches of the Greek physician Hippo krates, combines nutrition, exercise, sport, massages and baths with modern tools and treatments. Only natural products are used. Especially recommended: the Ana tripsis Spa Journey. The "Amanzoe" SignatureTreatment provides inner peace - but all it takes here is a day by the pool.

Mandarin Oriental Marrakech

Route Du Golf Royal, 40 000 Marrakech, Morocco
T: +212 5124 298888

Olive groves, fragrant blossoms, magnificent gardens and an enchanting view of the picturesque backdrop of the Atlas Mountains make this luxury hotel, just a few minutes' drive from the lively "Red City", an oasis of calm. The architecture skilfully combines traditional Moroccan elements and modern amenities - not only in the luxurious villas and suites, but also in the spa. This is reminiscent of a sacred building and extends over 1800 square metres with a very open architectural concept. The oriental heritage is upheld in traditional hammam applications, baths and treatments. These are joined by outstanding treatments from Asian wellness traditions. Each Wellness Experience begins with a comprehensive consultation with an expert. A fitness centre and yoga studio are also on offer, as well as a hair salon, beauty salon and couples' treatment room.

Together with Professor Gerry Bodeker, Harvard expert in traditional and integrative medicine, a wellbeing concept has been developed based on the following four pillars: Mind, Skin, Immune System and Energy. The aim is to give the guests a new feeling of self-knowledge and lightness. The stays are planned accordingly: Five to 30 days are the duration of the individual programs, which are only tailored to the guests after a consultation and a comprehensive counseling session.

The Icelandic "Ion" offers everything that discerning guests want from a stay in a design hotel: inspiring architecture, first-class service, Nordic chic rooms and excellent
Kitchen. And all this meets nothing, because the house, located just an hour from Reykjavik, offers absolute tranquility and the endless natural beauty of Iceland right on the doorstep. Through the large panorama windows the view falls into infinity. After an exciting day out, relax in the Lava Spa - it's not very big, but it's pretty spectacular. After all, it's not often you get the chance to sit in the warm waters of a pool fed by its own geothermal spring while it's freezing cold outside and the Northern Lights are glowing in the sky. Especially cool: Some decorative items in the hotel are made of lava.

Ritz Paris

ritzparis.com
15 Place Vendôme, 75001 Paris, France
T: +33 1 43163030

F. Scott Fitzgerald, Marcel Proust and Coco Chanel - these are just a few of the high-profile guests who considered the "Ritz Paris" their second home; the latter even lived at the "Ritz" for 35 years. No wonder, after all, the fine art of living is celebrated under the glass roof of the Bar Vendôme, in the cosy atmosphere of the Salon Proust over tea and in La Table de L'Espadon just as much as in each and every one of the luxurious suites. Excellence continues at the Ritz Club Paris, where guests enjoy holistic treatments and bespoke treatments with French beauty brand Biologique Recherche. They also work out in a gym with state-of-the-art equipment, with a personal trainer if desired; group classes provide variety. The pièce de résistance at the Ritz Club Paris is the swimming pool with its 800,000 hand-laid mosaic tiles.
