Cruises. Most people associate it with tropical climes, sunbathing, sweet idleness and shore excursions to popular destinations around the world. And while most cruise guests find just that to be the ultimate in vacations, there is an ever-growing group of adventurers. They crave the unknown, unforgettable experiences and authentic encounters with indigenous people. It's no wonder, then, that expeditions are once again among the most sought-after cruise products in 2023 and 2024.

The wonder world in the Eternal Ice entices with animal encounters, lonely expanses and a real sense of adventure. The 35-day semi-circumnavigation is particularly popular. The HANSEATIC spirit sails from Ushuaia (Argentina) via the Antarctic mainland and the islands of the New Zealand subantarctic to Christchurch in New Zealand. At the end of the voyage, the guests will have circumnavigated half the globe.
