After a long Corona winter, we crave some relaxing downtime. How that Travel 2021 is still uncertain, but stays in holiday homes are becoming increasingly popular. Here comes a small and fine selection of Green Pearls Holiday homes that offer plenty of privacy and nature to relax in.

Holiday homes in Thuringia

With 21 holiday homes the MANOAH - Houses on the lake in Thuringia a real small holiday village. The car-free facility only opened in October 2020. The houses have a kitchen and the MANOAH market, which is open 24 hours a day, allows for uncomplicated self-catering. Products such as barbecue packages or bread rolls from the nearby organic lakeside hotel can be ordered via app. Each accommodation has its own terrace with a view of the Zeulenroda dam. The nearby lake is a great place to cool off in summer, while the surrounding forests invite you to take long walks and relax in nature.

The solid wood houses are built with sustainable materials and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing sustainable holiday. There are three different sized house types with space for up to eight people.

Lodges in Tirol

The two holiday homes of the Summit Lodges in Pfunds in Tyrol were built in 2018 along the lines of American and Canadian log cabins. The whole village is dedicated to soft tourism, which is also noticeable in the surrounding alpine pastures and huts. The houses have a large garden with breathtaking alpine scenery in the background and are the starting point for hikes or trekking tours. Another highlight is the Pfundser Tschey, one of the most beautiful high valleys in Austria. The log cabins of the Summit Lodges indulge with a convincing mix of alpine hut feeling and modern luxury.

Enjoy blissful moments in the private sauna of your holiday home. A relaxing time-out awaits you between stone pine forests and alpine pastures with authentic farmhouses.

Biosphere reserve in Rhön

In the biosphere reserve Rhön, the Biohotel Sturm has converted the former kitchen house into a spacious holiday home with plenty of privacy. Up to six people can find a retreat here on 220 square metres in the middle of the large hotel garden, which houses home-grown fruit and vegetables as well as herbs for free use. There is a great offer in the Rhön SPA and a swimming pond in the garden, which provide perfect relaxation, especially after a hike or bike ride through nature. The good thing: you can use the fully equipped kitchen for self-catering or benefit from all the advantages of the Biohotel.

The open living room invites you to cosy evenings with a fireplace. Enjoy the peaceful nature on your private terrace or use the offers of the Rhön Spa including swimming pond.
