The Unbound Collection by Hyatt opens first hotel in the Swedish capital Stockholm

2021 kicks off with the much-anticipated opening of Hotell Reisen in Stockholm. The hotel with a rich history is now bookable through Hyatt and will welcome World of Hyatt members in its 144 elegantly furnished rooms as early as December.
Hotell Reisen looks back on an eventful history since the 17th century. The first foundation stone was laid in the 1750s with a licence to serve coffee. Today, it is ideally located in the heart of Stockholm, right on the waterfront and next to the Royal Palace. Decorated with ornaments from centuries past, including a 350-year-old footprint in the bricks on the floor of the hotel lobby, guests discover the building's rich history first-hand.
However, guests do not have to do without comfort in the old walls. In the 144 newly renovated and spacious rooms, guests can expect a modern, typically Scandinavian ambience. Many of the rooms offer a magnificent view of the sea and the islands of Stockholm. Amenities also include walk-in showers and, in many rooms, a private sauna. The sauna, commonly known as "bastu", has a long tradition in Scandinavia and is the perfect way to relax after an eventful day. In the hotel restaurant, the kitchen team serves classic Swedish dishes with a modern twist. What more could you want?
