Departure with a roller coaster on board

The "Mardi Gras" with the curved attraction is - unsurprisingly - currently the largest ship of the "Carnival Cruise Line". For the time being, it will be deployed in the eastern and western Caribbean. The cruise ship regularly sets sail from Port Canaveral harbor in the US state of Florida with a thrilling roller coaster and also docks there again at the end of the trip.

Accelerating in the "Bolt" roller coaster

Unlike on the mainland, the roller coaster's subsoil rocks above the sea. That's why the makers have decided that the person in front of the car controls the 22o meter long roller coaster. One can regulate the acceleration and the speed with a maximum speed of 60 km/h.

"Mardi Gras", the second

The original "Mardi Gras" started the history of the Carnival Cruise Line in 1972 and lasted until 1993. 49 years later, the cruise ship has now been given a successor of the same name with a length of 344 metres and a maximum speed of 43 km/h. The ship was built at a cost of around 950 million US dollars. With the construction costs of approximately 950 million US dollars, among other things, 2,641 cabins were built, 78 of which are wheelchair accessible. The ship can thus accommodate almost 5,300 passengers.

Other attractions on the cruise ship

The roller coaster is definitely the main attraction of the cruise ship and is one of those things that must be seen to be truly believed. However, all the other offerings also have the potential to amaze passengers. There's a high ropes course, basketball courts, a fitness center with a variety of classes, volleyball courts and even a dedicated jogging parkour. There are also five swimming pools on board.

Boredom should be a foreign word in the floating city with karaoke, cooking classes, theme nights, an open-air cinema, a nightclub, a casino and a theatre. For art lovers, there are creative classes and art auctions. For optimum beauty results, thought has also been given to a SPA and a hairdresser. Even acupuncture is on the program.
