HIGHLIGHTS
- Historical buildings in colonial style
- Caribbean elegance with modern luxury
- Private butler service
The six houses of the boutique hotel Casas del XVI were partly built in the 16th century - which explains the name of the hotel with the Roman sixteen. Retaining old structures, the houses have been lovingly renovated. Today, they exude historic grandeur and modern elegance in equal measure in Santo Domingo's colonial zone. The stylish interiors are given exceptional touches with local handicrafts, Dominican artifacts and hand-carved wooden furniture. Caribbean ambience, luxury and sophistication make Casas del XVI an exotic colonial-style hideaway. All 20 rooms boast comfort bathtubs, luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and beautiful patios for intimate, undisturbed sunbathing. A private butler service ensures that all your needs are met. You can even get married here if you want! But slow down: it also goes quite down to earth. Relax by the noble outdoor pool, read a good book from the hotel's own library or enjoy a drink in the bar in a relaxed atmosphere.
