After nearly two years of renovation and new construction in the former traditional Park Hotel Weggis, the hotel welcomes guests who want to begin their journey to their own well-being or continue on the path to a healthier life. The turn-of-the-century Belle Époque-style building, with views of the Alps, a private beach, private jetty and set amidst a large garden area, has been extended with a futuristic 100 percent wooden extension. The Chenot Palace Weggis has 97 rooms and suites spread over four interconnecting buildings, a restaurant and a tea lounge. In the new building, the Medical Spa covers an area of 5,000 square meters. An in-house team of specialists from the medical field, nutritionists as well as therapists offers guests state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and examinations to assess their state of health in specially designed treatment rooms. Three programs, selected treatments and the highest technology standards set new standards in the wellness and health segment. Henri Chenot is one of the founders of the Health Wellness movement and developed a concept of preventive health care as early as 1974. The Chenot Method®, which is particularly well-known in Italy and France and which rebalances the physiology of the body, serves as the therapeutic basis at Chenot Palace Weggis. It combines principles of the traditional Chinese art of healing with the most modern scientific findings of Western medicine. The Chenot Method® activates the body's self-healing powers. Three individually tailored programs, which can be extended at any time, form the basis: Advanced Detox, Recover & Energise and Prevention & Ageing Well. The first is the most essential and at the same time the basis for the other programs. The focus is on deep cleansing and detoxification of the body to eliminate metabolic waste and toxins, heal damaged tissues and restore hormonal balance. A wide variety of treatment equipment such as ozone therapy rooms, a cold chamber and altitude training room, a blood analysis as well as metabolic laboratory await guests along with a fitness room, cardiovascular, stretching and strength training area, multi-purpose studios for yoga, Pilates and group exercise as well as outdoor activities. The treatments are supported by the Chenot Nutrition Concept, which was created by Henri Chenot's wife, Dominique. The kitchen team makes use of scientific knowledge about the optimal selection, processing and preparation of food. Based on a calorie-reduced diet without malnutrition and compromising taste and flavor, two different menu categories are individually tailored to the guest: Detox on a plant-based basis and Biolight, which also contains ingredients of animal origin.
