Ibiza & Formentera: The Trend Destination of This Summer

Ibiza's reputation precedes it, and in many ways it lives up to its party image - but the white island in the Mediterranean offers so much more than just cool cocktails and cool beats. Especially in conjunction with the neighboring island of Formentera, you can look forward to a varied summer, with relaxing days on the beach and sleepless nights on the dance floor.

Ibiza and Formentera leave you spoiled for choice: exciting hustle and bustle, hot beach clubs and long nights on the dance floor, or chilled-out vibes, yoga retreats and relaxed days on the beach? What if you can enjoy the best of both worlds? All it takes is a short trip on the ferry to fully enjoy the magic of the Balearics.

As the party mile par excellence, Ibiza is always an unforgettable time - and although the nightlife here still attracts a wide audience, the probably loudest of the Balearic Islands is increasingly turning into a top destination for connoisseurs. In addition to lively clubs, Ibiza offers an increasing number of fabulous hotels and restaurants that are more than worth a visit. One of the biggest highlights, however, is not Ibiza itself, but its proximity to its "little sister" Formentera, the hidden champion of the popular island chain - a previously underrated destination that is enjoying increasing popularity.

Although both have the dreamlike beaches and crystal-clear waters in common, in every other respect they could not be more different. While Ibiza shines with lively clubs and world-famous DJs, Formentera scores with tranquility and an incomparable atmosphere. It is not for nothing that music legend Joni Mitchell wrote her famous album "Blue" here. So far, the choice of luxurious hotels is still limited (which will certainly change in the coming years), but with a distance of only ten nautical miles (equivalent to about 19 kilometers) and regular ferries to and from Ibiza, Formentera is the perfect destination to recharge your batteries during the day - and thus be fit for the dance floor again in the evening.
