Rome

My favourite place in this wide world is in Europe. Rome has a special charm for me. In the Italian capital there is a very special atmosphere in the air: I love the local people, I like the variety of cultural sights, I appreciate the charm of Italian women and I enjoy the Roman nightlife. Not to mention the excellent restaurants where you can end a successful day. I have a particular restaurant for each of my culinary preferences. For example, for fish I go to the Pierluigi. For barbecue you can meet me at the  Molto and to eat pizza far away from the tourist hustle and bustle I am drawn to the Pizzeria San Marco. After dinner I like to have another drink in the Bar Salotto 42 at the Piazza di Pietra. Particularly good hotels in Rome for me are the JK Palace  and that Hotel de Russie.

Drinking a cappuccino or a cornetto in one of the typical cafés is part of a perfect day in Rome for me. I also like to see some of the famous sights and let homemade pasta melt in my mouth at lunchtime. I like to sit in one of the many restaurants on the Piazza del Popolo and people watch. In the evening, I dress up, meet friends and end the evening with good conversation. A must-do in Italy is, of course, shopping.

Probably the most famous place in Rome is the Basillica di Santa Maria Maggiore. What you should not miss is the Vatican. The city state is really impressive. Also you should walk along the Piazza Venezia and have seen the Colosseum. I recommend a side trip to the roof terrace of Il Vittoriano. The view over Rome is an experience. My motto in life is that there are only two days in a year when you can't do anything. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow. And today is the right day to love, to believe and to simply live. And for me, this today can only be experienced in Rome.

I love the local people, I like the variety of cultural sights, I appreciate the charm of Italian women and I enjoy the nightlife there.

Want to quickly read up on the history of Rome? But of course! Photo: JK Place. It's also green in the hotel's Secret Garden: hidden from the Roman hustle and bustle, you dine molto romantico here. Photo: Hotel de Russie.

Drinking a cappuccino is part of a perfect day in Rome for me.

With this view, it won't just be a Negroni: Il Giardino bar at Hotel Eden. Photo: Hotel Eden. At La Terrazza restaurant you can enjoy gourmet food with a view of the Monumento Vittorio Emanuele. Photo: Hotel Eden.
The lobby is somewhat reminiscent of ancient Rome, combined with Italian extravagance. Photo: Hotel Eden. Admittedly: Looking out the window makes you want to go sightseeing. Photo: Hotel Eden.
Blue velvet meets red leather, the menu is also quite excellent. Photo: Hotel Eden. You can move on to the bar at JK Place. The Roman alta società is already waiting there. Photo: JK Place.
Close the curtain and turn off the lights, this is a room you don't want to leave. Photo: JK Place. At the Hotel de Russie you can relax in the SPA... Photo: Hotel de Russie.
... and takes a room with a view of the Villa Borghese park. Photo: Hotel de Russie. Molto, molto urban and chic is the gourmet secret restaurant Molto in Viale dei Parioli. Photo: Molto.

A look into my life

It inspires me:

Seneca & things I encounter through work in my daily life.

How would a good friend describe you?

Honest, generous, down to earth, sympathetic, trustworthy, always there when you need me

Her lifestyle in 5 words:

Sometimes casual and sometimes elegant

Her philosophy of life:

There are only two days in the year when you can do nothing. One we call yesterday, the other tomorrow. Today is the right day to love, to believe, to do something and above all to live

What else should we know about you?

The only way to find out is to meet me in person...

Traveling means to you:

Freedom, discovering new places and meeting new people
