One of the most famous sights of Budapest is undoubtedly the imposing Parliament building. With its neo-Gothic architecture and location on the banks of the Danube, it's an absolute must-see for any visitor. While wandering through the magnificent halls and the domed hall, you can feel the flair of history. For a unique cultural treat, explore Buda's Castle District. Perched high on Castle Hill are the famous Budapest Castle and the impressive 13th-century Matthias Church. If you stroll through the alleys here, you get to enjoy magnificent facades and panoramic views of the city. Tip: take a walk at dusk, then the buildings are beautifully illuminated.

Another architectural masterpiece that captivates visitors is the Chain Bridge. If you walk across the bridge at sunset, the city will be bathed in golden light and exudes a magical charm.

Budapest is not only known for its impressive sights, but also for the many thermal baths spread throughout the city. The water originates in the city's numerous healing springs, so the baths are the perfect place to regenerate and do something good for yourself. The Gellért Baths at the Gellért Hotel in Buda are highly recommended, as they were built in the Art Nouveau style and score points for their spaciousness. Here you can immerse yourself in the soothing water, which has been developing its healing powers for centuries.
