The initiative "Erlebe Deine Hauptstadt.Wien" (Experience your capital city) is launching a post-lockdown run from 19 March to 25 May 2021. 30 hotels and luxury houses are inviting guests to stay two nights for two people from 110 euros. Bookings are possible from 22 January 2021.

Spring days in the capital

After the Viennese hotel industry had to record 73.9 per cent fewer overnight stays and a slump in sales of 74.4 per cent last year, confidence is returning with the Covid 19 vaccination and the announced roadmap from the federal government. The tourism initiative "Erlebe Deine Hauptstadt.Wien" also had to re-plan due to the current lockdown. The city trip to Vienna during the semester break will now become spring days in the federal capital. The VIP offer for all people living in Austria is celebrating a comeback from March 19 to May 25, 2021. 30 hotels open their doors and invite guests from 110 euros to two days of enjoyment. The variety ranges from smaller establishments full of family atmosphere to internationally renowned hotels such as Park Hyatt Vienna, Sacher Wien, Ritz Carlton, Imperial, Bristol, or Palais Hansen Kempinski.

"Spring is not only the most beautiful time to discover Vienna, but this year it is also the justified time for confidence. Many people can't wait to travel again. Enjoyment days in Vienna are a nice step towards normality and also a special gift for Valentine's Day," says initiator Christian P. Lerner.

Risk free booking

All packages include two nights' accommodation for two people, a welcome package filled to the brim with gifts from Viennese manufacturers and a sparkling greeting from Schlumberger, as well as the "Erlebe Deine Hauptstadt.Wien" card. The VIP guest card offers attractive discounts and reductions in popular restaurants and bars, cultural institutions, sights and in selected shops. More than 100 partners are making special offers to guests of "Experience Your Capital.Vienna" this year throughout the year, until 31 December 2021.

The booking is completely risk-free for the guests. Payment is only made directly at the hotel. Thus, in the event of renewed Covid 19 measures, the costly reversal is omitted.

Unique experiences

To make your stay in Vienna perfect, there are also strictly limited "Once In A Lifetime" experiences to choose from this year. They are free of charge, but still priceless. For example, a guided tour of St. Stephen's Cathedral with cathedral priest Toni Faber, a wine tasting in the private cellar of the traditional house "Zum Schwarzen Kameel", a guided tour through the Scheer world of the traditional shoe manufactory, a tour of the treasure chamber of jeweler A.E.
