They bear the rather unassuming name "First Class Plus," but what they actually represent are private rooms above the clouds. We're talking about the new Lufthansa First Class Suites. They will be available starting in 2024. They can be found inside the new Airbus 350s of the new long-haul product "Lufthansa Allegris". But do the new Lufthansa First Class Suites deliver what they promise?

Enjoy Your Getaway With Allegris

An even better travel experience for everyone - that is the goal of "Allegris. It is part of the largest product and service offensive in Lufthansa's history. The company is spending around 2.5 billion euros by 2025. The aim is to improve all services in all classes. Economy, premium economy and business will also receive upgrades. But the new First Class Suites are to be particularly spectacular.

"The First Class Suite Plus feels as private and as individual as a hotel room - only at an altitude of eleven kilometers," explains Jens Ritter. The Lufthansa Airlines CEO continues, "The Allegris range promises individuality, exclusivity and freedom, and thus premium service along the entire travel chain in the future."

In Seventh Heaven

Guests of the new First Class Suites Plus enjoy a separate double cabin. Ceiling-high walls and a lockable door guarantee absolute privacy. At the touch of a button, the wide seats become a double bed. But even in seat mode, the seating leaves nothing to be desired.

The seats are almost a meter wide and offer maximum comfort. If you wish, you can cool or warm the seats as needed. In the suite there is also a wardrobe with sufficient storage space. Even if you change clothes there is enough space. Meal times are as individual as the guests themselves. Naturally, the menu carries the label "Gourmet".

More flexible business class

There are also innovations for guests in Business Class with "Allegris". In addition to breast-high walls and sliding doors, a larger amount of space ensures a comfortable journey. The suite is equipped with a personal minibar and a large monitor. Of course, the seats also transform into beds here.

Wireless charging, noise-canceling headphones, easy operation via a tablet-sized control unit, and the ability to connect suites ensure productivity while traveling. Home office was yesterday. It's all about a heavenly office today.
