Traveling returns with these highlights

People are in the mood to travel again!

11 June 2021

We want to travel again! Accor, one of the world's leading hospitality providers, wants to trigger the return of private travel for the summer with its new "Unveil the World" campaign. This is made possible by the relaxed travel restrictions in numerous destinations around the world. The campaign is met with people, that, after many months in their own four walls, show an enormous desire to travel.

The return of a worldwide travel dream

Recent surveys by Accor also fit in with this. Sixty-five per cent of respondents worldwide said they were likely to plan a private trip in the coming months. Road trips, al fresco dining, cultural experiences and city breaks were high on the list of priorities - areas that Accor's "Unveil the World" campaign promotes with special offers, new loyalty benefits and booking flexibility. A dedicated image film for the campaign is also designed to reawaken people's desire to travel.

Steven Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer of Accor, points out: "Over the past year, especially on social media, we've seen how much people miss travelling and doing the things they love. People all over the world have been going through extremely hard times. Now we see it as our duty to let them dream again with a renewed sense of energy, positivity, magic and reassurance. The world needs these signs of optimism to keep morale high."

Important criteria for guests are flexible price solutions, uncomplicated online booking and reliable health and safety concepts. Particularly with the latter, you will find what you are looking for at Accor. The booking platform offers its guests the ALLSAFE hygiene label which marks hotels and resorts with the highest possible safety.
