A trip to New York can now be even more impressive. Last week, the new observation deck "Summit" opened.

Right next to Grand Central station in Manhattan opened the "Summit" observation deck on October 21 at a height of around 330 meters. It offers a panoramic view of the metropolis on three floors, art installations, outdoor terraces and a glass elevator. The opening was already attended by tens of visitors.

Ticket prices start at around $40. As with any trip in the USA, proof of a Corona vaccination with an approved vaccine is required. The 427-meter office tower "One Vanderbilt" was completed last year at a construction cost of more than three billion dollars. New York, a metropolis of millions, already has several spectacular observation platforms: On top of the Empire State Building, "One World Observatory" on top of One World Trade Center, "Top of the Rock" on top of Rockefeller Center and "The Edge" in the Hudson Yards neighborhood in western Manhattan.
