Der Waldhof²

Taking a deep breath is the order of the day at this hideaway in Völlan. The family-run Waldhof, opened in 1973, is located near Merano, with a direct view of the Mayenburg and natural idyll all around. A step out of the four-star superior hotel - and already one is in the green. A walk in the 30,000-square-meter forest park with a nature park invites you to take a deep breath. In the hotel itself, well-being is the order of the day: the comfortable rooms enchant with modern design, and magical moments also await in the award-winning cuisine. Alpine and Mediterranean flavours have found each other in the original cuisine of Chef Evelin Frank. After a leisurely lunch on the sunny Waldhof² panorama terrace, a rich spa menu with treatments and massages is served. What is equally pleasing are the many saunas, such as the Finnish old wood sauna, and the relaxation room "Sound of Silence" with panoramic views. You can swim long laps in the heated panoramic pool, which leads from the inside to the outside, or in the outdoor pool between the trees and the large panoramic lawn in the garden. You can get active in the gym, with various courses, but also on guided hikes with hostess Dorothea Reiterer Mahlknecht.
