The wellness resort in the Tannheim Valley welcomed its first guests in 1748 as a small inn. Since then, a lot has happened, so "Der Engel", managed now by the seventh generation, is today one of the most popular wellness hotels in Tyrol. The wellness heaven is a total of 8,000 square meters, half of which is the quiet adults-only area, called "Organic Spa". Resting islands made of driftwood, which comes directly from the surrounding area, invite you to rest as if in a nest after a visit to the sauna - a total of eight variants are available. Invigorating kicks of freshness are promised by the cold-water pool, the mountain lake or the Kneipp pool, while the rest of the water world, consisting of an indoor pool and an outdoor pool heated all year round, promises warm bathing pleasure. A separate spa area is available for families, with a textile sauna included. The selection of treatments is also impressive. It ranges from Ayurvedic treatments such as Shirodhara and Abhyanga to classic massages, baths and beauty treatments. There is also a spa menu for couples and younger guests. The spa offer is particularly large for expectant mothers.
