HIGHLIGHT
Manna Medical
This is luxury with an effortless sense of style: at the Manna Resort, an architectural jewel at the foot of the Trudner Horn Nature Park, guests reside in 18 spacious designer suites, no two of which are alike. Culinary-wise, the Manna scores with international variety. In the Ristorante L'Orangerie, inspiration is drawn from Mediterranean and Asian flavours, a piece of Sicily in South Tyrol. At Luisa Gourmet, Chef Michele Iaconeta lets off steam - and for breakfast or an evening drink, you'll find yourself in the café. The Manna Spa is inspired by Thai and Oriental elements, both in the ambience and in the treatments, where high-quality products from St Barth or Gian Maria Amadori are used. In the relaxation room, guests lie on chic designer loungers next to large bonsai trees, and Chinese art objects line the walls made of Japanese-treated larch wood. The water world includes a Turkish bath as well as a Mediterranean bath and a large indoor and outdoor pool that leads into the garden. In addition, guests are cared for by therapists and doctors at Manna Medical, Italy's first and only F. X. Mayr centre.
