Monaco promises glitz and glamour - at Spa Métropole by Givenchy, that's exactly what you get, paired with luxury relaxation. The spa, designed by architect Didier Gomez, is correspondingly decadent, with its marble floors and gold-panelled reception desk. And that's just the beginning. With a hammam, sauna, caldarium, ice fountain and sensory showers, as well as ten treatment rooms, everything here revolves around pampering luxury - which can also be enjoyed with a glass of champagne during the extended relaxation rituals. Givenchy's ultra-luxurious Le Soin Noir products, therefore, perfectly fit into the concept: they contain a concentrate of black algae juice that stimulates collagen production. The "Le Soin Noir" facial, for example, begins with cleansing, exfoliation as well as a massage and is finished with a cryotherapy session. Using a cryogenic device, the therapist irradiates the skin areas with ice-cold steam, which inhibits inflammation and tightens the skin. After the treatment, it's best to fortify yourself in the chic relaxation room with the delicious selection of fruit and freshly baked cakes before diving into the Odyssey: the stunning swimming pool was designed by Karl Lagerfeld.
