These are the most beautiful cities with beaches that we want to visit in 2021

Sea Breeze Ahoy!

4 March 2021

Those who have difficulties to decide between a city trip or a bathing holiday during the holiday planning could simply combine both and choose a city that conveniently also has its own Beach has. Especially after a busy day full of sightseeing, a stopover with sea breeze can do really good.

To make the decision a little easier, we've narrowed it down to five beautiful cities with beaches.

Nice

The fabulous French Riviera is a great place to combine city and beach. Those who feel like exploring the old town of Nice have plenty of opportunities to do so. Shopping enthusiasts will also find what they are looking for on the Côte d'Azur. Those who rather feel like sunbathing and the turquoise sea can simply relax at the city beach and watch the hustle and bustle at the promenade. With a bit of luck, you might even see a celebrity swim by or be driven by his chauffeur directly to the famous Hotel Negresco.

The sun on the Côte d'Azur is incomparably beautiful.

Rio de Janeiro

When talking about magnificent cities and their beaches, the world-famous Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro is a must. All year round there is a lively hustle and bustle that is carried by the sun, good mood and great music. Those who want to have it a little quieter and escape the crowds can relax on the adjacent beach Ipanema and listen to the sound of the waves.

Rio is famous for its lively beaches.

Hamburg

Even though Germany might be the first place you associate with a city-beach holiday, there are numerous regions that combine both wonderfully. The Elbe beach in Hamburg shines with particularly fine and pleasant sand. The Elbe beach stretches for around 13 kilometres with a view of the harbour. At some sections you can sit comfortably in the sand and watch the hustle and bustle of the giant ships. A cooling in the water is very tempting, but still not very recommendable, as the river in combination with the passing ships could have a dangerous current.

The German metropolis also convinces with a beach.

Miami

When you think of Miami, you immediately think of the expansive white sandy beaches. The metropolis is especially famous for South Beach, which is located directly on Ocean Drive and attracts millions of visitors from all over the world every year. There, Art Deco buildings mix with Caribbean flair to create a unique ambience. The directly adjacent Lummus Park is also a great attraction, where there is always an exuberant mood.

Welcome to Miami! South Beach is one of the most famous in the city.

Portofino

Picturesque villages and charming beaches are simply part of the Italian flair. Portofino is the perfect place to experience the culture of the south. Where the rich and beautiful spend their holidays, you can also relax in the best way. Because the luxurious fishing village captivates with its small harbour and the colourful houses that stretch over the hilly landscape. Between designer boutiques and noble fish offers it lives like Elizabeth Taylor herself, who made the place in the 60s, by the way, one of the most famous jetsetter meeting places in the world.

This small fishing village in Italy is hard to beat for luxury.
