What could be better than relaxing by the sea? Listening to the waves, burying your feet in the sand and feeling the sun on your skin - pure holiday feeling! So that you can continue working on your holiday wish list as soon as travelling is safe again, luxury travel provider Intosol has put together some of the most beautiful beaches of the world summarized.

Wilderness Beach - South Africa

An almost five-kilometre-long natural beach stretches along South Africa's Garden Route on the coast of the small village of Wilderness. The beach is very wide and unusually fine sandy and clean for a natural beach. During a nice walk, one can have a view over the green coastal landscape and enjoy a fresh sea breeze. Unfortunately, bathing is not always possible due to the high surf and strong currents, but the beach is suitable for a relaxed picnic with the dunes behind you and the mild sun on your skin.

Nusa Dua Beach - Bali

In the south of the Indonesian island of Bali is the Nusa Dua Beach - a very fine sandy beach, where several 5 star hotels are located. Swimming here is no problem at all, because the beach is very gently sloping and therefore ideal for families with children. Hardly any other beach on Bali is as beautifully long and offers perfect bathing conditions as Nusa Dua Beach. Moreover, the beach is regularly maintained and cleaned. Nevertheless, it is recommended to wear bathing shoes, as you might encounter sea urchins and sharp corals in the sea. At Nusa Dua beach the tides are clearly visible. Depending on whether you visit the beach at low tide or high tide, you will get a different impression. You can also find water sports providers at every corner! Highlight here are definitely great sunrises due to the location in the south-east of the island of Bali.

Anse Source d'Argent Beach - Seychelles

When it comes to dream beaches, of course, the Seychelles can not be missed! One of the most beautiful is the Anse Source d'Argent beach on the small island of La Digue. With its spectacular granite formations, it is considered an absolute dream beach and is a popular tourist destination. The island of La Digue is one of the less visited islands of the Seychelles, here cars are prohibited and the number of hotels is limited. But the Source d'Argent beach belongs to the obligatory program during day trips to La Digue. One pays a small entrance fee and can then enjoy the day under palm trees and surrounded by granite rocks. Also the National Geographic Magazine regularly chose the paradisiacal beautiful Anse de Source d'Argent as the most beautiful beach worldwide.

Matira Beach, Bora Bora - French Polynesia

Absolute paradise awaits you on Bora Bora! The long journey is worth it in any case, because when you finally stand with your feet in the white, powder-sugar sand and look out over the turquoise sea, you will have immediately forgotten the effort and large time difference. In the south of the Pacific island is Matira Beach, one of the most beautiful dream beaches in the entire Pacific. The beach encloses a peninsula, is open to the public and is a popular spot with locals and tourists. It is the ideal place for snorkeling, sunbathing or watching the sunset. Moreover, the play of colors of the calm water is probably unique, just like the abundance of fish around Bora Bora.

Ninety Mile Beach - New Zealand

Another impressive beach is located in the fascinating New Zealand. Especially the Ninety Mile Beach impresses by its length. On the west coast in the far north of the North Island of New Zealand, it stretches from Kaitaia to Cape Reinga along the Aupōuri Peninsula. The beach is best known for spectacular sunsets and one of the best left-handed surf waves in the world. Beach activities also range from fishing and swimming to bodyboarding on the huge sand dunes as well as beach walks. Once a year, there is also the Te Houtaewa Challenge, a marathon of extremes where athletes cover 62 kilometres on the beach. Ninety Mile Beach is therefore more suitable for sporty beach lovers than for relaxed sun worshippers.
