Adventure Holiday in Colombia

If you want to spend your holiday actively, you should definitely consider a trip to Colombia. How about for example a Trekking through the jungle? Then the Valle del Cocora with its gigantic palm trees, mystical cloud forest and dancing hummingbirds in Colombia's coffee region definitely belongs on the bucket list. If you're more comfortable, a full-day jeep tour from picturesque Salento through the national park is the way to go. There, the impossibly large Quindio wax palms regularly impress holidaymakers. Colombia, however, is not only waiting with rainforests and jungle landscapes: Just 3 degrees north of the equator is the golden-brown Tatacoa Desert. A jump into the cool water of the water basin in the middle of the bizarrely shaped landscape is one of the highlights of every trip to Colombia.

Explore coasts in South Africa

With warm temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees in December, South Africa is a popular winter destination on the African continent. Included in almost every South Africa list is a visit to Cape Town, as the metropolis on Table Mountain awaits travellers with beautiful beaches, lively markets such as the Neighbourgoods Market and typical local dishes. During a South Africa vacation, one should not miss to explore the breathtaking beaches, steep cliffs and worth seeing villages of the native Xhosa on a tour along the coast. Here it is recommended not to take the often overcrowded Garden Route, but to plan a route along the unspoiled Wild Coast from East London to Port Edward.
