One with the landscape

Those who know and love Lake Garda affectionately call it "the lake". The mild climate, the wonderful beaches and bays on the shores of the lake and the picturesque villages undoubtedly exert a magic all of their own. One of the most beautiful communities is Torri del Benaco: here you will find the exclusive hideaway Cape of Senses on a spectacular sun terrace above the village of Albisano - with magnificent views of the lake and the surrounding area.

All rooms and suite have lake views, and body and soul can find respite in the spacious garden. The natural, unobtrusive architecture of the five-star hotel bears the signature of the renowned South Tyrolean architects Hugo and Alessia Demetz. Inspired by the location, they opted for a harmonious color concept with subtle hues, discreet, atmospheric lighting and predominantly regional materials.

To better blend in with its surroundings, the luxury hotel extends over three floors; large window fronts in the entrance and bar area bring nature indoors. Old olive groves and lush Mediterranean vegetation cover the entire property. The Cape of Senses is given a unique identity by its furnishings and lamps, most of which were handmade exclusively for the hotel based on designs by Alessia Demetz.

Regional flavors

Continuing the theme of harmony with its surroundings, the cuisine of the adults-only luxury hotel skillfully combines hospitality and nature. Chef Francesco Pavan considers the plate a stage for the culinary treasures of Italy. Pavan and his team at Osteria La Pergola focus on dishes that showcase regional specialties, aiming to showcase lesser-known flavors in a relaxed atmosphere.

Pavan's appreciation of the essentials and the traditions of Italy are also the cornerstones of the Al Tramonto restaurant. Seasonal, regional and carefully selected ingredients are the stars here, prepared with innovative techniques and in surprising combinations. Pavan works exclusively with producers who operate sustainably and cultivate organically and locally whenever possible. The restaurant's own herb and vegetable garden also ensures a steady supply of the freshest ingredients. Both restaurants are located on the top floor and offer an enchanting 180-degree view of the lake.

A spa for all the senses

Sensual and harmonious, powerful and energizing – these are apt words to describe the Senses SPA. The signature treatments change with the seasons and are characterized by the use of essential oils from medicinal plants and wildflowers, as well as the use of specially-developed Tibetan sounds. One of the highlights is their deep tissue massage: essential marjoram and citrus oil from the region alleviates tension, restores blood circulation, reduces inflammation and also tones tyour muscles. Products from the natural cosmetics brand MEI are used, which are made entirely on natural raw materials gained from cold extraction, which are then processed by hand - without the addition of alcohol or chemical solvents. A heated indoor and outdoor pool, a sports pool, a Finnish sauna, organic sauna, steam room and an exclusive private spa complete the wellness concept.

Typical Mediterranean aromas such as lavender, thyme and citrus fruits permeate the various saunas and pool areas, while exquisite blends of aromatic herbs and dried flowers from the area are served in the tea corner of the Senses SPA. Seasonal fruit, nuts, almonds and other delicacies serve as tasty accompaniments. The morning yoga classes at the Cape of Senses have a special magic. Asanas are a pleasure on the yoga platform, set between rustling olive trees and green meadows. Just like in the quiet yoga room inside. The garden, on the other hand, presents itself as a picturesque meditative oasis, resplendent in the green of the garden, the light blue of the sky and the dark blue of the lake. Add a glass of Franciacorta by the pool - and life at Cape of Senses becomes a work of art.

Life on the lake

The nearby town of Torri del Benaco combines everything that makes Lake Garda so attractive: a picturesque harbor, a charming lakeside promenade and narrow alleyways with small shops and fine restaurants. The hosts' love of nature and Italy is also reflected in the activities on offer: Experiences that the hotel's concierge can organize according to guests' wishes include an e-vespa tour including a picnic among the olive groves, a private sailing trip to the San Vigilio peninsula or a visit to one of the oldest lemon greenhouses in the region. Active visitors can discover local craftsmen and manufacturers with a guide on an e-bike.

The "Cape", the land terrace that gives the property its name, rises 200 meters above Lake Garda. Here, the blue of the sky merges with the blue of the water, creating a quiet and incredibly beautiful vista. The wind blows gently through the olive and oleander trees, the scent of juicy lemons lies heavily in the air. The sunsets are particularly magical here, which hotel guests can watch from the terrace on the third floor. It feels like you are floating above it all here. Here, you can just be yourself.
