One thing's for sure: we're all ready for a holiday. And since the summer with its relaxation around the pandemic is almost at the door, we can also already carefully put out our feelers, where it might go. Especially when it comes to a holiday with children, planning is crucial to really please everyone.

Here you will find five of the most beautiful destinations in Europewhere both parents and children get their money's worth.

1. Paros, Greece

Greece is always a good tip for those who want to offer their children the best possible summer adventure and also want to relax a bit themselves. Especially the gorgeous island of Paros, which belongs to the Cyclades group, is perfect for combining fun and relaxation. While the kids play on the beach or have fun in the water park Aqua Paros, the parents can enjoy the sun and let the idyllic surroundings with the bright white houses have an effect on them.

Located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the black sand beaches impress parents and children alike. The national parks with their lush nature and the impressive gorges are ideal for hiking trips. 3. Chiemsee, Germany

Water fans and sun-seekers are often drawn to Germany, because there lies the Chiemsee, the so-called Bavarian Sea. The beautiful Chiemsee islands conjure up a very special charm and also the fairytale castle Herrenchiemsee, built by King Ludwig II, is worth a visit - for young and old. Not only swimming and sunbathing invites you to stay; around the big lake there are numerous excursion possibilities and also a boat trip, where you can explore the whole area, is highly recommended.

The metropolis of millions promises unforgettable moments and, by the way, this destination is also a great way for children to speak English. Whether on the trail of Harry Potter, in the world-famous wax museum Madame Tussauds or in the Battersea Children's Zoo - Children's hearts beat faster in London. Denmark is a great destination all year round. While you can enjoy a leisurely day at the beach with the kids in the summer, there are plenty of other activities to experience in the cooler months. One popular place is Legoland Billund. This is a theme park with landscapes and unique buildings made only of Lego bricks. Not far away is Randers Regnskov, an extraordinary zoo with a tropical rainforest and around 200 exciting animal species.
