In Iceland, people are no strangers to the fine art of cooking: for a long time, they relied mainly on local products that could be found on the island. This fostered a great deal of creativity, which is celebrated in the course of the "Food and Fun Reykjavík". The festival invites top chefs from the U.S. and Europe to Iceland's capital, where they collaborate with local greats. The crux: they are only allowed to use local products to create their dishes! Visitors can taste the dishes in the city's restaurants during the festival.
