The long history of the house as well as the fine traditional cuisine, which is known beyond the borders, join the cultivated ambience. Location

The hotel is located in the tranquil community of Eugendorf in the north of Salzburg, about 15 minutes' drive from the state capital. The location offers guests the opportunity to balance their vacation - recreation in nature can be on the program as well as the many cultural highlights of the city. And you can also reach the Wallersee lake within a quarter of an hour by car.

The larch wood floor creaks softly underfoot, the curtains with Old Salzburg hand printing open out onto the lush green garden. There, green chairs are spread around the tables, above them the trees rustle in the wind. The atmosphere in the house is relaxed and friendly, the ambience traditional and homey. As a guest, you almost have the feeling of staying with good friends. Genuinely Austrian, just perfect for feeling at home and arriving.

In the historic four-star hotel, you also feel a little transported back in time. Dreams itself into old, wild-romantic homeland films. But the history of the hotel takes you back much further: the farm was founded as a country inn as early as 1390, and in the 17th century the owner gave it its present name. For a long time the estate was run as an inn and changed its owners over the centuries, today it is run by Gerhard Martin Schönbauer.

Salzburg tradition has found its way into the guest rooms of the house: The rooms and apartments are classically furnished in Austrian country house style, with light solid wood furniture from local carpenters and high-quality natural materials. Among them, for example, hand-woven sheep's wool carpets. Old, dark wooden cross beams span the ceiling, and some of the rooms have their own balconies.

Gastronomy

There is no minibar in the hotel, but the cuisine in the restaurant with its romantic garden has made a name for itself beyond the country's borders. And rightly so! Typical Austrian food with a lot of style is served. Food is cooked with directly from the region, partially even from own bio agriculture. In addition, there are fine wines and cordial service.

In addition to a 24-hour gym, the house also has an 800-square-meter Sauna & SPA landscape, which is open in the afternoon until late at night. Those who still have a little time available can treat themselves to a cosmetic treatment or massage.
