Lapérouse

Colette and Offenbach were inspired by the Lapérouse, which opened in 1766, even Ernest Hemingway and Marcel Proust dined here. Woody Allen's film, Midnight in Paris, was a cinematic monument to the Parisian institution. And even today, the opulent restaurant is one of the places to be in the Seine metropolis. Incidentally, it was the first to be awarded three Michelin stars in 1969. Chef Matus Kolarik's menu includes superb carpaccio, dorade, and chateaubriand.
