With the new Seabourn Venture into the adventure

While the strong bow of the PC6 Ice Class plows through the Arctic waters at the front, the picture at the back is completely different. The elegant stern is that of a superyacht. Between these two opposing ends of the ship lie over 2750 square meters of open deck space as well as duplex suites with panoramic windows. Clearly, the new Seabourn Venture is a luxury expedition ship: it combines the DNA of an expedition ship with the best features of a private yacht and Seabourn's high service standards.

Travel for today's adventurers

The Seabourn carries its guests to both the deepest south and the highest north - but the adventure begins on board. More precisely: on decks three and four, where the Expedition Lounge, the Discovery Center and a Landing Zone await on both sides of the ship. The luxury cruiser has a full 24 zodiacs on board and two custom-built submarines so that as many guests as possible can experience the unique water and underwater world during their expedition cruise. The state-of-the-art technology is joined by an outstanding expedition team that accompanies guests on their adventures.

When it comes to luxury and comfort, Seabourn makes no compromises - not even on expedition voyages. Like all ships in the fleet, the Seabourn Venture is an all-suites ship - it houses 132 Oceanfront Veranda Suites with custom furniture made from high-quality materials. The masterpiece on board is the novel two-story Grand Wintergarden Suite. The luxurious accommodation encompasses a proud 130 square meters, two verandas and affords sweeping views of the ocean via large glass fronts. On culinary level eight restaurants are to the maximally 264 guests to the selection. These include the specialty restaurant The Grill of the American three-star chef Thomas Keller.

On an all-inclusive expedition

All Seabourn cruises - and thus also the expedition cruises - are all-inclusive offers. Food and drinks are included in the price, except for a few premium products, as are tips and all excursions with the zodiacs and expeditions ashore. The bookable submarine tours and kayak excursions are considered exclusive excursions.

The Seabourn Venture cruises the great white continent of the Antarctic Peninsula nine times. Calls include South Georgia, home to millions of king and yellow-crested penguins. The main attraction of the cruises through Brazil is, how could it be otherwise, the fascinating Amazon River. The river is also what divides the trip into three sections: The journey leads from Manaus through enchanting flooded forests and swamplands to Rio Jutaí. From here, the Venture travels to Leticia in Colombia, and finally continues on to the legendary port city in the heart of the Peruvian jungle: Iquitos.
